I can relate. I just recently went through something similar. And upon looking through some of my older stuff, I’ve decided that some of it seems to be more… fresh, unrehearsed, off the cuff. Where as these days… sometimes I feel stale. So I’m trying to incorporate what I’ve learned in the last few years with who I was back then, at least in writing style. Because, I must say, I like who I am now better than who I was then, in general. So congrats on taking your first steps in returning to a voice that resonates with you better.
