Not a LOSER church!
July 6, 2007 at 1:12 am | In Chuch Planting | 3 CommentsMany of you know that digg is quickly becoming one of my favorite websites. There is so much good/fun stuff there that I could spend hours perusing the pages. When you spend that kind of time on a site you find some really good nuggets…as I did today.
I came across a link to a blog called 10 step guide to thinking like a LOSER. This is a business blog, but man it fits for the church!
As I read it I am feel both relieved and called out! There are a couple of things there that definatly…I mean DEFINATLY, hold me back, but I am relieved that indecisiveness is not one of them. Its great having such an awesome group of people around me who keep me from initiating stupid ideas (average one a week), without being bogged down by stagnation.
Maybe I’m wrong (figure of speech, I’m not) but the church should be vibrant, not stagnant! I love the momentum that we are riding right now. Just about every day I am hearing comments from people in our community (and outside of it). Sometime the comments are really good, and sometimes…well, less good
. Whatever, love me hate me just don’t ignore me!
Let me finish with this: I have never been part of such an encouraging, hyped up group of people! When I read your blogs or hear your comments about how excited you are it makes me want to work so much harder.

Yes, I followed Jason onto wordpress. I am so excited about God moving in your church. Honestly, that is the first time I’ve felt God really move in awhile, in terms of a church service type deal. I would really like to get a chance to know the people at The Patio better, and I would love to start attending. I’ll be there Sunday, so I’ll see you then. ~Meg~

Ha, my wife pointed that out to me too…right before I directed her to the spell check which did not pick it up. Guess that teaches me to argue with her! Thanks man.
